Birds!

After being on vacation for less than a week, a pair of birds decided that our patio was the best place to build their nest.  They built a nest and moved in while we were gone and of course pooped all over everything in the process.  :(  I fought a losing battle all day yesterday trying to scare them away from coming back to our patio.  By evening, we decided to put up a netting to keep them out!  Really, who wants to hang out with mating birds on their patio all day?  They tried coming through it once today, but after that they have left me alone.  YAY!  Here's the handsome fix-it-up-chappie who has saved my social life from the birds:

Loved it!!!!! The singing was amazing and it was fun to see how the story explained Elphaba's life.  Amazing date night!

Staycation

Chris got a few days off of school between trimesters so we explored where we live.  We had a great time and found some places we are excited to go again soon.
