Thanksgiving

We drove through Zion's on our way to Thankgiving.
This checkerboard mesa was really cool!
The beginning of the 1.1 mile tunnel.
It was pretty dark...but really neat!
Those cliffs hide the tunnel we just went through!
Nothin' better than a Louis L'Amour
 Our cutie new niece, Cambria

Chris was really good at calming her down...especially when she wanted to sleep and was supposed to stay awake!
I think this signifies a successful vacation!!

More drying

Apples for my snacking delight and celery for my soup love.

Season of Thanksgiving

Let's not skip right to Christmas, k?  All the stores went right from Halloween to Christmas decor.  So Chris and I searched the discounted fall items at the store and came up with our own "Thanksgiving"/fall decor.  A bare stick wreath, fall leaves, and a Welcome plate make up our new Thanksgiving wreath.
Happy Thanksgiving!

PS This cartoon is perfect for my thoughts right now

FIRE!

As we were eating dinner, Chris heard a loud noise outside.  We went out on our front porch and this is what we saw!  Apparently the dumpster in our complex had a fire in it.  You can see the firefighters just behind in the fire truck.  We were too late to see flames, but the dumpster is charred on the outside.
A unique experience, indeed.
