Our Grand Canyon Vacation

 

 Sunset

 

 We got to stay in a hotel!

 

We started at the top!

 Made it to Indian Garden.

4.5 miles down, 3000 ft elevation drop, 2 hours.

 

 

 Now we have to make it back up to the top!  We were so far down!!!

 Pretty red rock...I'm getting tired.

We are almost to the top and there is where we hiked to!

 We made it!

 Bright Angel Trail.

9 miles roundtrip

3000 ft elevation change

2 hours down

2 1/2 hours up

We beat the sunset!

Halloween Cookies

 They create quite a mess...but they look so fun in the end!  

Plus they are the best cookies to eat ever!

Birthday Weekend

We got to spend Chris's birthday with his parents and we had a great time!  We watched conference, played games, chatted, ate yummy lemon cake, and enjoyed the cooler fall weather.

 We got to watch a most beautiful sunset

And see lovely mountains, which don't really show up in this picture.
